Flipping channels on a full stomach on Christmas after learning of 2016’s latest high profile death, this time pop star George Michael, I came upon The Hateful Eight airing on Showtime. Having last seen it only once when it opened its original thatrical run, I decided a year was long enough to wait to see it again.

Nothing’s changed: even without the “roadshow attraction” extras, The Hateful Eight is still as good as the first time. And that’s fucking awesome.
